The EOPCN is recruiting a certified Advanced Foot Care LPN.
Reporting to the Program Manager, Clinical Director or designate, the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), supports the delivery of Primary Care Services in the Footcare and Lower Leg Clinic, Edmonton O-day’min Primary Care Network (EOPCN) central location. The LPN uses the nursing process as a member of, and in collaboration with, the multidisciplinary team, in the delivery of consistent quality care to meet the needs of the patient.
The LPN provides restricted activities and care within the full scope of practice as defined by the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA). The LPN accepts responsibility for continuing competency through ongoing professional development including participation in education programs, research, and quality activities. The LPN adheres to CLPNA professional practice standards, guidelines and competencies, and Edmonton O-day’min Primary Care Network (EOPCN) policies and procedures. The LPN is responsible and accountable for their own practice as defined by CLPNA. The LPN practices in a setting where patient care needs are well defined and established, and where changes in the health condition of the patient are predictable.
