Welcome to the Green Healthcare Toolkits, a user-friendly resource designed for doctors and patients. Climate change and environmental health are growing concerns that impact all of us, now more than ever before. In the face of this climate crisis, we believe it’s important to bring planetary health into our daily decisions and actions.

GREEN GOALS
Our goal is to identify straightforward, evidence-based approaches that benefit both human and planetary health. For example, active transportation promotes health not only by preserving our local air quality but also by providing a great opportunity to exercise. Each toolkit has resources and internet links that offer helpful approaches and, hopefully, make it simpler to change the day-to day behaviours that support the wellbeing of people as well as this planet.
TOOLKITS
In each toolkit, you will find an article that summarizes some of the scientific literature on each topic, as well as the tools our team designed to make the evidence actionable and easier to understand. The tools are posters, handouts, drug lists, and, in one case, a printable BINGO game. References are included in the article for those who wish to read more about the topics. We are developing more toolkits in the fall so we encourage you to keep checking in for the latest releases.
Thank you for joining us on our journey to make healthier and more planet-friendly choices. – The Green for Health Committee at the EOPCN
