Build Your Bones, Bone Health Class
Looking to improve your bone health, strength, and balance? Build Your Bones is an educational and exercise-based class designed to help people with osteoporosis, low bone mass, or those at risk of developing bone loss conditions.
This two-hour class combines practical information about maintaining healthy bones with guided movement activities focused on posture, core strength, balance, and fall prevention. Participants will take part in gentle floor- and standing-based exercises aimed at building confidence and supporting everyday mobility.
This class may be a good fit for you if you:
- Have osteoporosis or low bone mass
- Have been identified as being at risk for bone loss
- Want to improve balance, core strength, and stability
- Are able to safely get up and down from the floor independently or with the support of a chair
Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing, bring indoor shoes, and bring a large towel for the exercise portion of the class.
